So Christmas came and went and left behind a whirlwind of fatigue that needed to be eased. This year, I took on more than I could handle and was so tired after Christmas, I took a hiatus from baking. This year, I did the usual Christmas Fruit Cake, the ondeh ondeh cake and a gingerbread house. For the gingerbread house this year, I used the same recipe from last year, but added a nativity twist to it. I reckon the kids can learn about the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our messiah, Jesus Christ, born humbly in Bethlehem and placed in a manger. The kids were more excited about eating the gingerbread house though, oh well…. Here are some photos for this year.

My favourite photo of this year’s house, all lit and warm.
